My favorite moment when playing FFXIV for the first time was seeing the men in the same ridiculous subligars as the women.

In order:
World of Warcraft
Dark Souls
Final Fantasy XIV

How to Disappoint Magic Fans:

not-so-silent-arbiter:

The Tarkir block plot is that Zurgo Helmsmasher gives Sarkhan a special sword, the Khansend, to kill Surrak Dragonclaw. Once Sarkhan kills Surrak, Zurgo feels threatened by Sarkhan’s power so he stabs him with the Khansend. Ajani holds the body of Sarkhan, turns to the camera in despair, and says “Not again!”

*insert laugh track and roll credits*

mtg-talk:

Along with Geralf, we also have two cards from Khans! One features Morph, while the other shows off a new mechanic from the Mardu clan: Raid!

Looks like Raid is kind of like Bloodthirst*, only it checks if a creature attacked this turn and does things other than give +1/+1 counters. Neat!

Magic: the Gathering - GamesCom MTG spoilers

Some very exciting news out of Cologne, Germany where Wizards of the Coast is one of almost 650 exhibitors participating in GamesCom.  Here’s the five new lovely illustrations revealed during GamesCom.  The indication is that each of these five card arts are the alternate arts for the foil rares in each of the Khans of Tarkir Intro Packs.

Speculation -
• Illustrated by Matt Stewart- Abzan Elephant
• Illustrated by Anastasia Bulgakova - Jeskai Wizard
• Illustrated by Peter Mohrbacher - Sultai Rakasha demon cat
• Illustrated by Steve Belledin - Mardu Goblin (?)
• Illustrated by Eric Deschamps- Temur Rhox

Garruk is Coming [x]

Some still photos of Garruk’s costume from the videos. The axe, costume, and armor are my work, the makeup is not.

Holy Avacyn. Wow.
